Welcome to Marissa Latini Therapy

A bit about me as a therapist:

I work with adults who feel stuck despite knowing exactly what they "should" do. Many of my clients have read the books, listened to the podcasts, and spent years trying to understand themselves, yet continue to find themselves caught in cycles of burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, and unsatisfying relationships. I also work with couples whose relationship has begun to absorb the impact of chronic stress, overwhelm, and emotional exhaustion.

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I specialize in helping clients move beyond insight and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and focused on identifying the underlying patterns that keep people feeling stuck long after they've intellectually understood the problem.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I believe that healing happens through both self-understanding and action, and that a strong therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for lasting growth. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to creating a space where clients feel both supported and challenged.

Prior to private practice, I worked in intensive outpatient treatment, higher education, child welfare, sexual assault advocacy, and domestic violence services. These experiences continue to inform my work with trauma, burnout, relationships, and the complex realities people face while trying to build fulfilling lives.

I offer in-person sessions in Pasadena and telehealth throughout California.
